24 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE AS A BUSINESS OWNER & ATTORNEY

My name is Matthew Hallisy and I'm the Managing Attorney of My General Counsel On Call. Unlike almost all other lawyers, I have also run small and large businesses before becoming an attorney. I started My General Counsel On Call because I could never afford to hire an In-House Attorney, much less pay a law firm to handle any legal headaches that I had to deal with. I wanted to finally offer the expertise of a high-end attorney...without having to pay what similar high-end law firms charge. I graduated from University of Miami and studied business, advertising, and pre-law. Along the way, I went back to Grad School and received my MBA from the University of Arizona. During Covid when everything got shut down, I was one of the meme stock investors and made enough money to fully pay for law school. So I did. I graduated from California Western School of Law in San Diego.
